Founded in 2022 and proudly 100% black female owned, M&R is led by Ms. Thandi Dywili — known as the “Lady of Steel” — whose vision is to keep the steel value chain local, building not just products, but also jobs, skills, and pride in South African craftsmanship.
Our roots go deeper than stainless steel. Through Lilitha Minerals & Resources, our parent company, we have over a decade of experience in metallurgy — supplying alloys, ores, and reductants to foundries and smelters. Out of this expertise, M&R Stainless Steel was created to transform local raw materials into beautifully crafted, durable products for both homes and industries.
